Workshops at HEUG Central - Illinois

Pre-conference workshops will be offered on Monday, October 2 from 8:00 am - 12:10 pm prior to the main conference. Registration for these requires an additional fee of $100 per workshop or $175 for two. All workshop payments must be paid no later than September 29, 2023 or registration is subject to cancellation.

  • If you are already registered, go to "My Registrationand login, click "Add-ons", and then click the "Add Additional Options" button. Select the workshop you would like to attend and click "Add". Then hit "Finish" to pay.

PS Query 101 with Expressions

Description

In the first half of this workshop, we will explore the PS Query tool, reviewing each tab/page within the tool (Records, Query, Expressions, Prompts, Field, Criteria, Having, Dependency, Transformations, View SQL, Run).

In the second half of this workshop, we will explore various types of expressions including case logic, decode, substring, concatenations, date/time reformat, and drilling URLs.

The workshop will use SR and CC data.

Please come prepared to follow along in your PS environment (preferably a test environment).
